I posted on here a while back that i was cruising down a hill and put it in reverse, well we replaced the tranny with a transmission out of our parts car, which was shifting and doing everything fine, the man that replaced it for me said that it is not wanting to go into first gear, you have to manually put it into second and then once it goes put it back into drive. How can it just all of a sudden be a non functioning transmission. Anyone know what it could be? Shift solenoid? Locked up? Please help I reallllly need my car back!
