Default Should I Trade/Sell My Eg?

I am trying to sell this for $2500, i have it in the marketplace, so im not trying to sell in this thread.

Im confused tho, i dont know if i should really get rid of this thing. Give me some opinions if i should or not, this is everything done to the car...

-z6/y8 mini me swap
-5 speed
-Del sol front seats, blue/red stripe
-Stanley sidemarkers
-HID kit
-Datum1 front/rear bronze tow hooks
-OEM siR front lip
-KYG AGX shocks all around
-Runs smooth
-Transmission is very smoth, no grinds at all
-Straight body
-Alignment is perfect
-Wired for vtec

Looks like a pretty clean car...how many miles does it have on the body, engine, etc.?

Looking for an EF sedan, similar to like what i used to have. Or at least a good base for me to build up.

standard HT stage 1 upgrade.
if you want to go back to an 88-91 civic sedan doesn't sound like you want to advance it past mediocre. do whatever but maybe try harder with this one first.

trade it for a sedan with cash on top. that way youll have money to spend on the sedan. I just sold my 91 si and bought a 96 Dx hatch, i kind of regret it so i know how you feel. on the other hand the dx hatch has an ls. but if i were you id trade with some cash on top.

Mediocre? according to who? And honestly, i'de be "downgrading" by only one year. This is a 92, i could get a 91 sedan.

Look above a few posts, i've had a super clean ef sedan and i regret selling it.

Better platform for what? I've had fast cars, im a grown *** man i dont need to be hauling *** to work every day. The difference between the eg and ef sedan is that one is primarily built for speed, while the other has more of a "low and slow" aspect to it.

Im actually thinking about going the vw route. Found a few A3 jettas for sale under 2gs.

In my opinion I would say the eg is a better looking platform, I know the ef chassis can look good with some work but I would keep the eg. They are sort of a dime a dozen from where I am from though so that could be a reason to go a different route. Ive heard efs are much better "drivers cars" though, considering the lack of powersteering it is more you driving than a machine.

VW are actually good cars despite most people's beliefs, parts are usually cheaper than honda/acura but the issue is the time it takes for labour, which is worse than working on a honda for simple things like oil changes. I would say that they are quality cars though considering how they were built and the parts that are available

Are you saying that EF's dont have power steering? My LX sedan had power mirrors/windows/locks, with AC (not hooked up) and power steering.

My eg has manual mirrors/locks/windows, NO AC and no power steering.

I like to cruise, more than i like to drive fast.

Im patient when it comes to working on cars, so the possibility of a vw being "harder" to work on, doesnt scare me away. Im just not very knowledgable when it comes to vw's.

Sorry I didn't know that, all the ef's i have been around were completely manual.
If you are able to find an ef again with all those luxuries why not go for that? Like you said you want a cruising car and the eg you have doesnt have those cruising luxuries, I don't know man I would either find another of those ef's or find a clean eg with the luxuries you want, I still like the look of the eg more but to each his own
