Default Mayfly's Build Thread

Ok unfortunatly i dont have pictures for everything but decided that a build thread will help me keep updates on pictures. its a slow process. but its getting there. I hate these rims with a passion. Started out with something like this.

It had a JDM ZC in it but it smoked really bad. don't know the exact cause, could be head or bottom. so i pulled the motor.

The new motor. D15b7. picked it up complete motor, tranny, shift linkage, axles, harness for $150 from my friend. Stage 1 Cam, Resurfaced head.

The motors in

Interior was clean.

No Radio. Going to Put on in soon

Will update pics with more progress. gotta find camera.

already got rid of the tint. gotta get pics up of it. and on hatchs the side markers sit lower that crx's

also another question. has to do with brakes. when i brake the pedal almost reaches the floor. ive bleed the system 2 times now. so could it be my master cylinder or my brake booster? thanks.

Some updates. Currently not working so incomes been super low. but i messed around with what i had and picked up a few items.

Got a NRG Quick release set up with a Personal Steering wheel!

A GS-R Dual bend shifter(small modification required)

And ITR Shift ****

Next was a little project i had going. was tired of the driver side seat being worn and beat so i took the passenger side and slapped it on the driver. it was easy but time consuming.

Took off the rails

then the cover to the pads.

swapped backs

when putting the foam on the new side you have to cut it a little for it to sit flush

also have to put a small slice in the cover
Before

After

The Girlfriend Sitting on my damn seats.

as you can see the driver tear is to the inside on the passenger side now, and the driver side is fresh and comfy with no tears!

crap picture from outside of car but got a hatch cover from my friend for free, unfortunatly two holes from him putting speakers in there

Then i made her clean up

i had to still.....
