Icon3 '00 S2000 Need an answer now!

Okay so i was doing some research and i came apon this. Now i dont know if this is true or not. But i wanna know from you '00 S2k owners!

"When the convertible top is down and the seats are pushed all the way back, the seat belts may not retract properly, resulting in slack in the seat belts. This slack can reduce the protective capability and effectiveness of the belts and increases the risk of injury to an occupant in a crash."

"Under certain conditions, the seat belt retractor can deform and cause complete or frequent locking of the retractor. As a result, the seat belts cannot be pulled out of the retractor and cannot be used."

I got this at autotrader's Safety information for the 2000 year'd S2000s. I look'd at the 01's up to 03's and they dont have that statement.

I was wondering if '00 S2k owners have experienced this? or have had anything similar to this? and have you guys tried doing this?

Thanks!
