Default My DB8 Build

The car was purchased as a daily driver while i was toying around with my 220whp b20vtec coupe. I said i was going to keep it stock just drive it. You all know how that goes. It started out as a very haggard 1994 db8. When i got the car the gsr was long gone and it had a b18b. I found a killer deal on a 99 civic ex with an 99 spec jdm itr swap. so i purchased the car, swapped motors between the two and sold off the civic to my brother in law. Thats where it all went down hill. I purchased koni yellows with ground control coilovers, got a free set of o.z. wheels with the 99 ex and then decided it should get a face lift. I was looking for a 98+ bumper when i stumbled on a 99 db8 parts car. i got the whole car for $400.00 minus the swap. I swapped the carpet, most interior pannels, dash, rear bumper, mirrors, visors you name it. If it was in better shape, it was swapped over. I had a friend come and help me cut the rear quarters out of the car to use when it was ready for paint. Purchased a JDM front end from japan star motors and a friend and i put it on ( only 6.5 hours) lol! had a mishap a few months later with a mini van, as a result i orderd super clean head lights from pwjdm and a radiator support, radiator, and hood from japan star. Completed JDM front 2.0! It seams like every time i get money saved for paint something happens first the mini van, then a freind needed to make rent so i picked up a jrsc super cheap. so paint was held off for another few months. in the meantime i Purchased a 99spec jdm itr header off of elite jdm in philly, later went back to pickup a jdm itr cat, jdm 5 zegan exhaust and a set of db8r doors! Then she was off to the paint shop, had both rear quarters patched up, alot of dings and dents pulled and fixed. Actually now that i think about it the only pannel that stayed on the car was the roof! Got her back from paint, orderd new window trim from acura, purchased jdm db8 window visors and db8r floor mats from e-bay and i traded a set of s2000 seats for usdm itr seats. Ill be going back down to elite jdm to pickup db8r rear seats in a week or two. And hopefully by the end of next month the jrsc will be on an tuned!
