Megan front strut on 5th gen
Looking to get a Megan strut for my 01 lude, I been trying to find some pics and some more info about it. Does anybody know if the cruize control needs to be pulled out in order for it to fit proper? Any pics of them in 5th gens would be nice too.

No the cruise control does not have to be moved.
There are some wire harnesses in the way on the pass side shock tower though.
I just removed the bolt on the bracket.
I have since removed mine because I got a JDM Type S one

strut bars are pointless. The reason why is the prelude doesn't use struts. one may think that this is a meaningless difference in word choice, but it's not.
The shock towers in a prelude are unloaded. bracing them serves very little purpose in increasing the overall stiffness of the front end. it's a waste of money and added weight. and for everyone who's about to reference the ITR or the Type-S--save it. Removing the front STB from a DC2 doesn't negatively affect the handling in any noticeable way on a racetrack or the auto-x course.

to me they're pointless, unless you're gna build an auto x car that needs the stiffer handling/suspension. but if you want it just for show, go with a good ol ebay one
