Default Condensation in EGR port?

Removed my EGR valve today after I drove around a bit to warm up the car and notice there were drops of water on the valve itself and in the port coming from the head.

Is this normal?

Yes condensation in the exhaust is normal. As the exhaust cools down from a driving cycle, the condensation appears. When the car is driven later that condensation is burned off after driving a while. The condensation is more apparent when the temps outside are below 60*F. You may have noticed at a stop light the car in front of you has water running out the muffler tip. This condensation is also why exhaust rusts out - especially when driving very short trips during winter (ie less then 5 miles or so).
