Help with my mini-me swap...
So im planning on swapping a d16z6 head into my 91 civic sedan. So I know the stock d16a6 engine is obd0 and the z6 is obd1. Along with the head I have a complete z6 wiring harness and a P28 ECU. So I was just wondering if this is all I needed to do the swap because I asked around and some people said that I have everything I need since I have the P28 and other people told me that I cant use just the wiring harness and the P28 to make it work. Any help/tips/advice would be appreciated, thanks.
well you will need an obd0 to obd1 jumper so that you can plug in the p28

and you can't use the z6 harness unfortunately. connect the stock harness to the z6 and then run the appropriate wires for vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch, and 4 wire o2 sensor.

Ok thanks. So I need to use the wires from the z6 harness and run them straight to the jumper? And is rywire the only place to get the obd0 to obd1 harness? Sorry if my questions seem stupid but this is obviously my first mini-me swap.
no rywire is not the only place, but i recommend them. you can find jumpers cheaper elsewhere, but the rywire jumper is a great product and easy to use. the subharness is setup with the plugs already on it so all you have to do is run them into the bay and connect them up. plus it comes with the obd0 to obd1 dizzy adapter.
