Default need help, new to hondas

Ill try to sum this up as much as possible.

A few days ago i recentlt got a 94 integra with a built b16a

(background on the build, as far as what I know)

it is a 1994 integra GSR body
b16a motor

Brian crower valves, valve springs and retainers.
Brian crower stage 2 cams.
eagle rods.
Je 11.1 pistons.
arp head studs main studs and rod bolts.
Act hd clutch.
Skunk2 cam gears
skunk2 pro series intake manifold.
edlebrock fuel rail.
jegs fuel pressure gauge.
Aem cold air intake.
Kz header.
Lsd b16 trans.
MSD ignition
tuned on Chrome

I was told there is roughly around 10k since the build

So heres my problem, car runs and drives great havent had any real problems with it, (other than a few friends that say it is quick but should be a bit quicker than it is)...but when I get into vtec (mainly between shifts) so far I havent been burning up any oil (although the smoke does look blue not really black)

now a couple of my honda friends said its perfectly normal for hondas to smoke like that in vtec, but i have had a couple of other friends say it is normal for hondas to smoke during vtec but not as much as mine does, it blows out a pretty decent size puff of smoke.

I know that it could be piston rings, I havent done a compression check on the motor yet, but seeing as the build only has 10k on it, i really dont see the piston rings going out already unless the previous owner revd the **** out of it all day every day.

im just looking for a little bit of feedback on what it may be, or any ideas of how to go about figuring out what it is.

OH, also...my friend has an EG hatch that has a b20 with a b16a head, and when he gets into vtec you can tell, its loud and you can feel it, when i get into vtec, you can hear it engage but its not really that loud and you can definitely feel an increase in power, but according to my friends its not pulling as hard as it should.

Well did you get any paper work for the stuff being done? If not how do you know he isnt bsing you? A b16 in a gsr why would he have swapped the b18c out for a b16? I would think the valve guids the lil rubber things im worn out sorry might be going bad! When you hit vtec you get a huge white puff of smoke till you drop out of vtec? is the tranny a b16 tranny or gsr tranny?

might have a cracked valve, possibly bad vtec solenoid, puttin a oil pressure gauge mite be a good idea
