100k maint. anything to else to do?
***************NEWWW TOPIC PLEASE READ DOWN!!!!!*************
Ok i got a 95 integra LS...it just rolled 99k....but landing a surprise job in jersey has me turning it into a commuter car puting 80 miles on it a day (round trip) instead of going through with my plans of going big with it ...i did all the 100k maint. early on it myself..fuel filter...oil change (obviously i do this more often then 100k), radiator flush etc that it said to do in the shop manual...is there anything else that may have been over looked by the manual?...
i hate to put it into a commuter car...but the job was too good to pass up and its better then driving my truck with a 454 chevy big block in it getting 10 mpg.....

Haha i bought the car from my aunt in 2005, it only had 51k on it then...she lived in pittsburg and walked most places she needed to go...it sat in the garage 90% of its life.
And thanks guys...i got the radiator flushed...and i am gonna flush the tranny and put some synchromesh in it...
Do all of this trust me, and also be ready for the o2 sensors to go out soon. Front and rear are about 150 each. And possable wheel bearings but you'll hear them going whoosh whoosh when they need to be replaced. Along with new plugs n wires and that should be pretty much it. Oh and keep in mind your master slave cyclinder could leak so just check every so often.

Timing belt and water Pump was done before i got the car (50k)
Valve cover gasket i just did at last oil change cause it was leaking
and i get the car aligned once a year...PA roads are terrible.
so i am gonna radiator flush, change tranny oil and valve adjustment
thanks guys
i just wanted to make sure nothing had been over looked

also....did comp. check and i am running cyl 1- 168 2- 160 3- 150 4- 95 =[ so after a bit of saving i might freshen the motor up...the one cam seal leaks right now...so i cant tell if its burning oil or just leaking it...but i am losing oil somewere...no blue smoke or burning oil smell...but i am prob just gonna put new rings and bearings in it....put new seals in the head and maybe valves and springs with mild cams...nothing too radical...just something that gives it that extra power...but still street friendly....any suggestions?
There's no 100K mile maintenance interval on a '95 Integra. Is this a Canadian car, and are you talking about a 100K kilometer (60K mile) maintenance?
If you're going through and doing all the scheduled maintenance, it's a good idea to also replace the cooling system hoses - if not all of them, then at a minimum do the two big ones.

i agree that changing all the coolant lines large and small is a good idea. actually, we do this alot here. the belts should also be inspected and replaced if necessary. and no one mentioned the air filter yet LOL. but everything was pretty much covered here so you should be good. i would replace the brake fluid too and make sure you got good brakes for your commute.
When I hit 100k, my maintenance was taking the car to the track and smashing the heck out of it to get a better time. At about 120k I misshifted and the real maintenance started. Thats the only time I changed the timing belt, head and IM and oil pan gasket, some new valves, and new coolant. Other than that I am not a big fan of the "60k or 80k or 100K" service they always recomend. Yes of coarse my wires plugs and cap/rotar has been changed, other than that it runs till the next breakdown
yeah i was doing the 105k maintaince...and with putting more then 500 miles on my car in a single week...doing it 100k or 105k doesnt really matter....cause if i didnt do it at 100k....105k is right around the corner...

i have replaced almost everything they have mentioned lol. dont forget your hoses. the tiny coolant hose blew up on me a couple of months ago.
If you've never changed your timing belt, you're about to learn a very expensive lesson about why scheduled maintenance is important. As my mechanic says, "You can pay me now, or you can pay me a lot more later."
105K is not a major interval on a '95 Integra. The big interval was at 90K, when the timing belt was due for replacement. The interval for the timing belt was changed to 105K beginning with the '98.
yeah that and the 120000 mile service. the 105000 was bigger than the 97500 though. that was what i was refering too..so what about my garage thing i PMed you about? oh wait. i just got a PM...maybe you answered already

Maintenance schedule?? What's that??
I've generally just been changing the timing belt and water pump every 90K, and otherwise just replacing stuff when they wear out. I do try to change my spark plugs every 10K-15K, fuel filter every 30K and clean out my K&N every 30K, and change the transmission fluid every 25K or so.

(I assume we all know enough to change the engine oil and oil filter.)
