ive heard the d- series works well with turbo , done right eg. not too much boost. , b series vtec imo is best left n/a with a few mods a b16a can be a seriously quick motor for a 1600 , what engine do you currently have?

id say its standard prob a usdm 1.6 si? sohc FI am i right? we dont have that model were im from , i would go b16 bud turbo's good but vtec imo is lots more fun you could prob work the b- series with the loom you have , just change the engine harness , ecu. then your gearbox mount and rear engine mount will have to be shifted slightly. works with the jdm si to siR anyway not too sure bout the us civics though

b18c vtec turbo vs b16 vtec turbo the b18 would be better build because b18 stock is close to 200hp and b 16 is 140? right? without turbo

B series swap is pretty straight forward on usdm si's it's the dx's that have issues

well i dont know about the us but here a healthy japo b18c is about 180bhp and the b16a is about 150-160 either one is fookin mental power for a n/a motor

I love answering engine choice questions but if your looking for something that is easy with power definately B16A, I just dont like B18's because they are not originally from crx's or civics, but if your up for the challenge, I myself am eventually going to get a
K20A from a DC5 with 220hp, but if you can't afford that much I will always recommend the K20A2 from a older RSX

i take it your cr-x has FI? if so your tank and pump is ok, rear discs if you dont already have them , wiring loom ,b16a engine , box , ecu , shafts , hubs , your best bet is getting a smashed siR and swap everything

if i were doing it id get the ecu that matches the loom for the b16 you get , try get the engine , loom , ecu complete , saves fecking around with wiring and stuff , a crashed or damaged cr-x siR is your best bet
