Accord wont start!
I've done my research and cant get any answers. Car is a 96 honda accord with f22b1. It is getting fuel (can smell it), air, and i tested the spark using a screw driver and spark plug wire and was getting spark but maybe not an up to par spark, i am not sure how much it should be but i am at a loss. It happened when i was re wiring the distributor. I had the ICM tested and it passed. Any ideas? Il probly just buy a distributor unless it is something else.
I have checked double checked and triple checked the wiring, everything is in the right order. Im hoping there is just a problem with the distributor they are like $50 a pop. and yes thats where i started my troubleshooting was the firing order.

If you do have fuel (test it don't rely on your nose), air, and Fire (again verify that it makes it to the plugs) to the spark plugs, and your firing order is correct then and only then I would check the timing. Take note Very Important, rewiring from an external coil back into and internal coil requires you to change your distributor cap back to an internal coil setup. Let me explain the cap used with the external coil, doesn't have the contact point to the spring on the internal coil any more. So no current makes it to the rotor button. So make sure your internal coil has a spring on the tip of the contact and use a new cap.
I guess you checked the above mentions? Anyways, just crack open your fuel line near the fuel filter and turn ignition to ON! not Start. Gas will start to flow out like a fountain. Re-tighten and rise area with water.

if you have an aftermarket alarm, that is most likely your problem. pull the whole thing out and reconnect the black and white ignition wires under the steering column. the after market alarms just quit working after a while

Well i alreaddy ordered a dizzy so im not gona bother testing those. Luckily enough the dizzy only cost me $54. I will pull the alarm too, it doesnt even seem to work properly anymore anyway.
chances are its the alarm.my neighbor has a clean 2000 accord but couldnt start it one day. after like 2 hours i decided to help em. pulled a plug-no spark. then i said the alarm was bad. no-no-no he says. so he bought an icm (non returnable $75.00) and then plugs, and then wires, and then a cap and rotor. still no go 4 days later. then they gave it to me. FREE they said. i pulled the alarm and gave it back with a hundred dollar work order bill. ICM tested good so i gave that back too. they paid me LOL
