Default diagnosing rough idle

Hey gang,

Newbie question. I'm noticing a rough idle. Tach is stable but I can feel it through the steering column, almost feels like too much bass from the stereo (no, it's not). It seems to run real smooth when it's going, but I feel it at the lights. It's intermittent and happens warm as much as cold.

Possibly related, I've got a starting issue - i.e. when cold and wet, it won't start - that I've traced to corrosion on the wires and distributor cap but haven't yet fixed.

Is it possible that my distributor is the problem and one of my plugs is misfiring? Or any bright ideas on something else?

95 Accord 2.2 m/t

thanks.

the faq page has a post about cleaning the iacv, and the throtle thermal idle control valve but I've noticed the same thing on my accord. I think it might be the vacuum controlled rear motor mount. but you have a m/t manual trans your car does not have that type of mount. try cleaning your idle control valves. hope this solves your problem.
