K swap in an ef
Before i bite off more than i can chew.....Exactly how hard is it to swap a k motor into an ef?... Is it recommended or would it be best to just go with a gsr or maybe even a type r swap?
if you have the cash or you dont mind waiting to save cash for the part needed, then do k-swap, it can be done about as easy as b-swap with all the company's specializing in k-swap parts the swap can be done pretty simple, but you will need a welder or no someone with one

I'm pretty sure there are swapping guides for efs with k swaps. I havnt seen one. But in last months honda tuning magazine they show u how to save on k swaps for under $3500 that's a itr swap right there
ive seen only one ef9 with a k20 and the bloke who owns it said it was a lot of work , he had to cut the bulkhead for the gear linkages for example , if your a metal fabricator or as said above any good with a welder then a lot of it should be handy enough for you , saying that its still a LOT of work , whereas a b16 or b18 would be a lot less hastle compared to the k20. at least in the states you lot have a head start on conversions as all your 4g's are fuel injected , here (uk and ireland) most are on carbys!! so a FI swap can be a pain , best of luck bud whatever you decide on

ya thats what i said it "could" be done without welding, a buddy of mine bolted his passenger side mount in using hybrid mounts on a 260hp k24-k20, and they make bolt in shifter boxes, headers, and swap harness to make the swap pretty straight foward
