15" Wheel fitment questions for 97 Civic HX Coupe w/ ITR Calipers
Relevant car details:
97 Civic HX Coupe
Complete EX knuckle was swapped, then with a milled bracket, ITR calipers and 4x100 redrilled prelude rotors were added (along with necessary MC, etc)
PIC Performance P2 Selects 8kf/6kr lowered approx 2".

I've always had 16" wheels for my car and I would like to move a lighter 15" set up both for tire availability weight and cost... And both of my sets of 16" wheels were cheap and weigh in at approx ~16lbs and 17lbs which can easily be beat with most of the racing oriented 15" wheels. The wheel I would acquire would be used solely for autox and I will get some sort of R-Comp to put on them.
I had the RPF1 all picked out and have been saving for them until I ran in to this:

So I'm looking for a light 15" wheel that clears the caliper without ridiculous use of spacers... All with a budget of ~$800 or less. I'm currently looking a Kosei K1 TSs:

Looking at pictures, it looks like there is more clearance specifically toward the outside of the wheel, does anyone know for sure? Or can anyone suggest a better alternative? Or alternatively would it be better to just go ahead and use 15mm of spacer and go with an extended lug?
Thanks everyone!

Just threw my set on yesterday...didn't realize that the 15's don't clear ITR brakes, so i had to get extended studs and run 15mm spaces in addition to shaving down the calipers...overall I'm running +20 in the front and +35 in the rear...

Yes, because I'm so concerned over how "jdm" my car looks I'm going to pick a heavier wheel that doesn't answer my caliper clearance question at all so I can have a stretched look and a "more comfortable ride".

OP, Not sure if this helps but I have used CRV wheels (15x6 +50 offset) and rota slips (15x7 +40 offset) on my JDM ITR 5-lug with no caliper clearance issues. Maybe the Enkei's had a smaller inner barrel causing the clearance problems. I wouldnt think you should have any problems with most 15" setup.
The RPF1's are known to be a 14" inner diameter. They wanted to make the rim as light as possible so they reinforced the inner barrel which causes clearance issues especially in the 15" version.
The enkei PF01 is a good option as it clears the 11" rotors is the same price as the RPF01 and its fairly light at 12.4lbs.

Thanks to both!
Looking at pictures alone I like those Koseis and they look like they will clear, I'll look at the Enkeis as well.
