Default my new/first ef

ok never owned a honda always wanted one but the time was never right. A friend of mine was taking this to the junkyard so i saved it. This is gonna be my new auto-x cars. This will be my 3rd auto-x build but deff my most challenging considering the rust dents nd lack of drive train.

plan is this

d15 bottom end with d16 10:1 pistons
d16y8 head with a snotty cam (looking for suggestions)
gsxr 1000 ITB's
d16y8 trans (convert car to manual)

heres some pics of getting it and starting on the rust.

the block nd auto tranny thats going away

updates rear flares are welded on and almost all the rust is patched... all that is left is what is under the rear bumper by the fender wells... pardon the welds i am a great welder when i have a good welder this is a cheep one that has 2 heat settings only and it does not use Argon and CO2 shielding gas so all the welds look like crap but are very strong.

the cutting

welded on

grinded

self etching primer so that it doesn't start to rust before i can do the rest of the body work

and the gutted interior

thankyou im gonna build this baby to the best of my ability probably gonna get flamed for the flares but with 9in wide and an offset of +20 wheels im gonna need them it was either that or just cut the flares because i borrowed a set for a test fit from a friend before doing this and with coilovers they would most deff rub and cut the tires

updates are that the fender flares are now fiberglassed in sanded just got a skim coat of body filler to smooth it all out and are sanded and the car is now out for its paint job silver with a black roof

but...

car is actually up for sale ive run into money issues because of my school loans and cant afford to finish it... i do have a for sale thread up if anyone is interested $1100 theres alot of parts to go along with it... honestly if someone had $500 tops they could have a nice auto-x car or just a nice daily
