F/S-2001 Subaru Forester (cheap DD)
Being broke and with the sun out I need to get rid of my winter beast. I bought this fine 2001 Subaru Forester last fall, it's served it's purpose for me and now I need to let it got. Here are some details:
year: 2001
Model: Forester
Trans: Auto AWD
Color: Metallic red
Interior: Tan cloth
Mileage: 223k
Location:NNJ
Condition:
Exterior: The paint/body/bumpers/windows are all in very good condition. No rust on the body and no cracks in the glass. The car does have a good chunk of miles so there are scratches and small dents around the vehicle but nothing major. would rate the body a 6/10
Interior: No rips or cracks and everything is still there. The interior could use a good scrubing and would actually be real nice. Overall 6/10.
Mechanically: The car runs like a champ. It has never broken down or given me any major problems. The tires and brakes still have a good chunk of meat left on them. No leaks that I've noticed and it doesn't burn oil between changes. There are only two issues that I've noticed. First the check engine light comes on intermittently. Brought it to my friend who works at subaru and he says it's pull a code from the second O2 sensor. Doesn't affect the drivablity at all. The other issue just starting happening. There is a clicking noise coming from the center driveshaft. I'm going to try and get it replaced before I sell it, just need to source a good driveshaft. overall condition 7/10
Overall it is a solid car, I just need to pay off some debts ASAP so the car needs to go. Any questions please PM me.
