Just thought I would share my fun today. Welded the holes shut and primed with etching primer. BTW its nice having totally *ucked up paint. My clear coat is faded I got scratches everywhere. Its like camouflage.

I did this on my 91 but I had a lot of rot as well.

Its kind of hard to see in the picture but it was the section under the right tail light.



I can't find any of it on the car though.

 

Count your blessings; look at what I'm going to attempt to repair. Both sides similar.

 

Did you get panels yet? You're probably gonna have to fab up your own rocker sections.

Don't want to hijack the thread. Cut quarters out of a rust free shell in a salvage yard. Been talking to body shops about how to procede.
