You can go to a junkyard and find one. My friend got one for $30 for his EF. Me and my dad are gonna do it soon. Its a couple of spot welds that you need to drill out, and re-weld it onto your car.

I was quoted a 1000 when i wrecked mine, for removal, them lining everything up, and putting new one in.

It's not really hard to put one in, however it can take some time to get everything perfect.

Crtifit aftermarket Parts

eg - 75 , ek - 45

new aftermarket. downloadable catologue. core supports need to be welded in and properly alinded. its 4 hours to replace only, not tear down and rebuld.

^^ **** that. you mean sorta fit.

Do not and i mean do not buy those types of core supports, you WILL be very unhappy in the long run.
i have one, it fits very poorly, more then half the weight of oem, and bent within a month!

1000 was quoted useing a brand new oem core support, and aligned and installed by a pro.

you have the general idea of the company, it is just a cheaper way to handle a rebuild. go to honda and buy one from them. will save bunches of headache.

Costed me $150 in parts, welded it in with my friends help. A shop would probably charge anywhere from 600-1000 to get it done, if not more.

buy a little hobart welder and a new core support. Cheaper and you'll have the welder for in the future.

I'm in the same boat as you are. a local body shop quoted me $1,200. The core itself was listed at about $300. You can new ones on eBay for about $100 shipped. Its just the labor that's a bitch because they have to make sure everything lines up correctly. Probably looking at $500-$700 on labor. Good luck.

^ Dont buy a ebay core support! I have one they are very poor quailty and no matter what you do it will never line up correctly.

Ehh, well i guess see what you can do to, to pull it out a bit, just be extreamly careful, you could pull the top out too.

But you should be able to put a bumper on it.
