Default shocks and springs set up

Hey guys I read around took in a lot of information and just want more clarification on it. I got a 94 gsr and I'm trying to lower it with the budget I'm currently on. Does anyone run with kyb gr2 shocks and tein s tech springs? If anyone does how do you like it and is the 2.5 drop in the front to low. Pictures would be great if you have any. I tried searching for pics and didn't really find what I was looking for, or maybe I'm just blind. Any info would help. Thanks in advance!

im running GR-2's and H&R oe sport springs with a .75" drop on the front and back, i cant imagine going any lower then this given the amount of travel you loose in the strut the ride must be unbearable. I like the way it rides now, a little smoother and stiffer at the same time, has a nice performance feel to it without being harsh.

GR-2 is a stock replacement shock. It will not handle any significant lowering at all for very long.

Honestly I don't understand why people insist on significantly lowering cars with trash KYB GR-2 and Tokico HP shocks. Koni STR.T's might be okay with those springs.

In my experience GR2's WILL BLOW. If you are on budget save up more money get a better setup.

Wasn't referring to you, was referring to OP who wants to lower 2.25" on GR-2 shocks.

I agree, GR-2 shocks are fine with OE Sports... but so should any other OE replacement shock such as those from Monroe, etc.
