hey im kind of a newbie to this honda stuff and i was thinkin about gettin a crx, hopefully an si. i was just wonderin if someone knows what time they usually get in the 1/4 mile, just being stock, and if you could tell me some good ways i could increase the performance of it or if crx's have many flaws

 

my stock civic si ran 16.4 @ 85. as of ways to increase performance,, whew theres many. the basic bolt ons - Intake/Header/Exhaust. that will get your power up a lil. it sure did mine

 

I don't have a stock SI but as for added power you can go with header, cam gears, msd Ign, pistons, cams, valve train, larger diamter for exhaust, better exhaust system, NOS ( just kidding) lighter wheels, no interior just driver seat ( for the person who wants to go to the extreme), intake manafold, cold air intake or just short ram, the list goes on.

Just pick up a Grassroots Mag and look at it.

i bet my stock hf could run a 20 sec 1/4. depending on wind and if downhill or not. beat that!. but, in the shop right now getting b16 swap. then hopefully runnin 14's.
