Replacing fuel pump...
Hi all,
Planning on replacing the fuel pump, but was wondering if it is common procedure to have the tank flushed or anything.
I'm aware that unlike my girlfriends CR-X, Integras don't require the tank to be drained and removed to access the pump. However, I did remember reading somewhere about ridding the tank of loose dirt/minerals which may possibly cause premature problems for the new pump.
My GS-R only just hit 80,000 on the odo, uses premium fuel, and garaged so I don't expect the inner walls of the tank to be a complete rust bucket, but thought I'd run it by you guys.
Thanks,
Adub
