Whats up folks. in need of some info. ive got me a 1990 honda CRX Si with the D16A6. i want to convert to The mini me swap. i could use some information about what parts i need EXACTLY. not maybes or any BS. i know already i need the head, dizzy, and ecu. am i leaving anything out?

I have been to some websites that talk about it but its just peoples opinion and its not with the D16 motor. so if anyone out there can give me some REAL advice it would be appreciated.

So im assuming you want to put on a d16z6, or d16y8 head? you're right for the most part but here is a better list of what you need.

-convert to obd1
-wire everything for vtec, 4-wire o2 sensor needs to be wired
-obd1 dizzy
-obd1 p28
-remove the oil jet near the center of the block, on the IM side.

 

need a obd0-obd1 harness

 

I have the p28 5spd ecu,the vtec solenoid and the distributor if you need them,Matt.

 

the guy who has the head doesnt know if its a y8 z6 or what so idk yet. i might be better off going into a junk yard and finding the swap myself lol. unless someone is willing to trade my the full swap "Everything i need" for a B20 and or ls B18. complete blocks both seperate from the head ready to build. and the ls head is missing the cams, the b20 is a complete head. i was originally going to build them up but short on time and money. everyones story almost eh? haha.
