This morning my dad woke me up and said your car is beeping, so i guy into the garage and my alarm is makeing the sound of a single chip, and then there is another weird chip sortly afterthat.
I then discoverd my battery is totaly dead, I then charged it and the car started right up everything seemed fine, untill i noticed the led for my alarm is solid.
The alarm will respond to the remote but will not arm or disarm. It will chrip like it was arming and disarming but it does not. I unhooked the battery and the led slowly went out hooked it back up and still same issue.

The install was very poor and everything is just hacked up.

car- 98 civic dx
Alarm-Crime stopper cs-2000dp2 series IV, has been in car for around 2 years with only one issue, the ground wire came free, due to *** who installed it, just tapped it to my dash frame.

I havent yet looked at the wireing, just due to how freaking hard it is to get to anything, and i still need to find the dang brain.

Possible blown fuse?
any help is greatly appreciated

 

So i have been digging around in my dash for a while, and i finaly located my alarm. I have found that its not a blown fuse.
The thing that i think is very strange is even after i have pulled the Main power fuse (15amp) the led is still lit?
I have tried re-setig the alarm which did noithing.

Im stumped and my paitance are really starting to run thin with this peice of **** alarm.

 

it would appear that the alarm is in valet or standby mode.

 

You wouldnt happen to know how to get it out of that would you?
The parking lights will flash, but the siren does not chip when you hit the button.

EDIT- i just check the manual and it says how. i read right over it like 3 times, i will go see if it works.
