Tie Rod job

Default Tie Rod job

Im doing my my Tierod (front Left) and i was just wondering was there a way i can replace the tie rod with out messing up the allignment or is there no Saving it... and also.... Dont i need to put Grease on the threads of the tierod so its not metal on metal.... thanks for all the help guys....

dnt put grease on the threads but count the times u turn it and put it back on that many turns and u should be close to what it was at.

When your taking it off you can usually see the line where the rust stops on the threads where the end of it stops. This is just a way to use it as good judgement but i would still reccommend an alignment.

Thanks guys I was told from my bro (he mechanic) i should use Grease..... i dunno if he ment fro tierod or control arm i think it was tierod...
