Whats up you guys, I just picked up an 89 CRX about a week ago.
Car is LS (B18B1) swapped with a B16 cable trans.
It HAD been driving alright, but now its really damn hard to put into gear sometimes. Also, sometimes, when its in gear at idle, the car shakes pretty bad.
When I pop it in to neutral, it stops.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

have you tried adjusting the clutch? sounds like it isn't fully releasing and you need to tighten the cable

Well I'm not a huge fan of my B16 tranny in the first place and I'm thinking about just trading/selling it for an LS and having a smooth *** daily driver. Would I need different axles or anything weird like that?

 

nope. use your current intermediate shaft and axles
