My Fully Built GSR Resto
Ok so i have been a member on here for quite some time but i never really posted anything so i guess its about time i introduce my one year long project with headaches and money spending. There has also been a lot of time spent just being lazy but i mean hey who doesnt get in that mode right? on to the info...
this is a 1995 GSR that i bought from a guy and it came with some goodies, however the night i bought it i found out it burned a quart of oil once a week yummmy. So before i messed with the motor i decided to get it painted (bc my dad is a body man and is the **** lol so it was hard to refuse). I originally took the GSR out with my buddy and put a ls in for the mean time. Eventually my gsr trans took a **** (bought it messed up) and i purchased a ls trans bc i always was interested what it did with high boost (15 plus lbs). In the mean time the GSR motor was sent out to BMS machine works and they decked my block and head, honed my walls, micro polished and rebalanced my crank and installed all new bronze valve guides for 600, got a decent deal through my buddy. the motor is currently in the completing stages. like i said i have been extremely lazy with the girlfriend, school, and work being involved.

Eagle H-Beam rods
B18C block and crank
JE low compression pistons
JE rings
Eagle Blockguard
Skunk 2 dual springs
Skunk 2 retainers
Ferra 1mm oversized exhaust valves
GSR cams/ oem cam gears
AEBS intakemanifold
Edlebrock 65mm throttlebody
3 inch N1 style exhaust
Prosport Boost gauge
Prosport Oil Press. gauge
TURBO SPECS:
Turbonetics 57trim/ .63 exhaust turbo
Turbosmart 38mm wastegate
HKS BOV SSQ (Purple top)
Honda Dual Core rad
14 inch slim fan (i know insane haha)
A/C compatible Log Manifold (great turbo to block clearance)

so after i had the car for about 3 weeks it got broken into go figure. now ive had an eg stolen for me that i had no alarm in so i learned the hard way. needless to say i purchased the python alarm and remote start pager set up and it took a good week to instal bc we put the sensors just about every where lol this time no playing around.


i will upload more pics later tonight when i get a chance...stay tuned
