which car should i get? dc2/dc5/s2k
no offense but you cant really afford any of those cars, not a nice one any ways. In reallity you would only have $9K to spend because you are still going to have to pay tax and licensing which will be close to $1K on $9K.
Maybe a dirty title R? The other 2 are either going to have a million miles or also be dirty title/hammered on for you budget

Op never said what he was using the car for, so im gonna asume that it will be for looks and maybe a couple of street races
Like someone uptop said you wont find a type RRR that is clean as hell for 10k ( i might be wrong tho) the rsx models are ok cars when they are done right. dont know much about s2ks exept that they are really good track cars. Either way good luck with what ever you get

if you are looking to modify the car, then the cheaper you buy the actual car for, the more you can spend on upgrades. a stock rsx or s2k, or a sick modified dc2. its up to you.
I think you wont find any of these cars with less than 125k miles for around $10k, if you're needing a new daily driver and you see snow at all throughout the year, RSX for sure. S2Ks are the sex but not practical in snow/severe weather and if you got a type r that you're gonna cruise through the same than you'd just be ruining it. B like everyone else and buy a civic, k swap it and toss on some suspension and wheels and break even on ur original $10k budget.
Just my 2 pennies.
Sorry just saw u live in Cal so go S2000 but shop ur *** off and get one with low mileage and good luck with insurance!

i see it all the time.
i saw a 94 NSX go for 16,500 in my area not too long ago, in GREAT shape i might add..
if i was you i would go with an s2k if i found it for 10k and it was in good shape. that is not thinking about anyone but myself. for example, s2k is a two seater, also daily commute, where you live, things like that...but overall s2k all the way!!
like everyone stated; 10k is good money, but unless you plan on getting a rebuilt title'd R or a rebuilt titled s2k or a clean title'd one with a crap load of miles, i think your gonna end up just with a dc2 and dump money into it.
To any one saying they can find an S2k or RSX in good shape, clean title and low miles for under $9K LMK and I will cash it out.
