anyone know what kind of transmission this is. i have a 90 automatic ef sedan. and where is the drain and fill plug

 

strangely that bolt with a square in it should be your drain. the fill, just take out your VSS.

 

ya but the previous owner changed out the transmission cuz he put in the wrong fluid so im thinking this is a different tranny.

ya im guessing the square plug is the drain and i was looking for a 17mm bolt for the fill but all the other bolts are small like the ones in the pic

 

on auto trannys there might actually be a fill area on the top of the trans, but don't hold me to that. if not, then of course like said above me you can fill it through the vss hole.

 

ill try that. still anyone know what tranny this is

 

its a honda tranny!!!(being sarcastic) haha

 

there is another way of filling it. pop out one of your axles, and pour the bottles in that way. you can get just about two quarts in, that way.

 

The drain is the bolt that accepts the 3/8 drive, and since it's and automatic transmission you should have to fill it through where the tranny dipstick goes.
