Will the 235-60-15 M/T street radial width fit? I have coilovers so I can adjust the height? How tall are they in inches? I have 24.5/8/13 slicks that fit on the car now if this helps.

they are 25.5-26" tall. width wise all depends on the offset of the wheels. I have fit 235/60/15 BFG's and M&H DOTs on my car with no issues. It also depends on the tranny and power you are making. you might be able to use 225/50/15's and have better luck. I know at 400whp I ran slower on 235/60 than I did on 225/50

I'd run the M&H bias ply 235's. M/T 235's suck *****.

 

 

235/60 is probably your best bet. on 225/50's and a USDM ITR tranny i was on the limiter at 9000 in the traps with 400whp in a full weight integra

 

You all actually track you cars with drag radials on them? I know people have been fast on the mickys and m&hs but its def not a common thing around here, but neither are classes, bracket sport compacts are all the same lol.

Never had much luck myself, times sucked, was hard on parts, cost more than slicks, didn't last no time, and def didn't hook the same.

We just buy them so we don't burn our slicks up on the street that we desperately need at the track. Seems like there is a time and place for radials and at the track just seems like a pure disadvantage.

What kind of 60fts do you all see with the m&h dot sportstreet?

I bet a high enough whp and properly geared car could fit and make use of the mandh J60/15 [27" tall, 8" tread width] on the street. You'd have to remove and smooth the inner fender pinch welds and 1-2" around the entire wheel opening on the fender and bumper. I think that if you could get the car to squat down on them and keep its stance it'd work.

I loaned a buddy a set of hoosier 26x9.50s on zero offset wheels and I tuned his car out up to 31psi via a 60-1 all in 3rd gear on the street. LS sleeved ramhorn setup, omni's and lsd. I was amazed, I'd never seen a radial on a fwd take anything like that.

I do run slicks most of the time at the track but I have run the M&H dots on street tire days and in the old power street class in NDRA. My best 60ft was 1.7x

 

I ran 225/50 15 MT's on my car at 430+whp and loved em.

 

Guys I'll add pics tom, but these 235 60s are small in my eyes. They are tall, but not very wide. I didn't have to change a thing suspension wise, just unbolted the 24.5s and bolted up the 235/60/15s, clearance was excellent, easy and I adjusted nothing. They completely stay inside the front fenders, not sticking out any more than a reg set of street tires. I actually have a set of normal street tires that are almost identical in size, height and width.

the MH's are only a 7.3 tread width...vs a standard 235/60 DR that is 8.0" wide. even tho its a bias-ply, it gives up alot of width

These radials are the **** guys, I been in quite a few honda's with lots of different radials and I have never seen any hook like these in a fwd. On the street these hook better than my slicks. My car is a beast from a 40 roll now, were it just used to blow them off on the slicks. They are so gummy its ridiculous, you can smush the the tread around with your finger not even using your finger nail.

Cool thing about these radials is that once the tread is gone, it looks to still have ~1/4" indicators deeper than the tread. So when the pattern is gone, they look like new slicks, indicators and all.

I've taken 3 80 mile hard round trips of mixed interstate and intown driving with these tires and they are showing no wear what so ever.
