The engine is complete as of right now... This thread however, is just for the parts listed... Additional parts can be added for additional cost... I was selling the COMPLETE (bolt on a head and go) short block for $2500 OBO...
I dont have any pics of the bare block... It is still assembled and in my car... I do have some pics of the assembled shortblock before it went into the car though... I would be willing to do $1000 shipped within the US...

B16A... I will text you
Just wanted to build something a little different, and I had a GSR shortblock here I had acquired a while back, so I sent that off to get sleeved... As for the rest, I will just say I was inspired by all of these high compression + boost setups that have been popping up lately making crazy numbers... This block is in great condition, and is still complete and in my car now... I just start and let it idle for a bit every couple days to keep everything fresh...
And I took this directly from Darton's website to answer your question about the sleeves being open deck:
"Darton has engineered a superior patented (patent #6,799,541) solution by using a unique designed cylinder sleeve which when siamesed and nested, creates a solid deck of sleeve flanges held in tension, reinforcing the upper deck area and provides for individual replacement with what we call Modular Integrated Deck (MID).
In addition, Darton designs' manage and enhance water flow from block to head to promote stability of cooling and all sleeves are of the "Wet" design. The enhanced water flow in and around the flange area is possible because of ported water flow control engineering we call "Swirl Coolant Technology™". "

Good luck finding a b16b.... I know aside from the stamp the b16b casting is the same as a gsr/itr (deck height), but the crank is the same in the b16a and b16b the rods are the biggest difference... Which finding aftermarket b16b rods would probably be even more of a challenge...
This is about as much as I am willing to part it out... I am basically just selling the bare block for 1000, and including all of the other parts for free, as I have no real use for them...
