Default Help... What's the best way to go back to OEM finish

Hello i recently got my car painted Midori Green and i asked the shop to paint the fog vents as well, but now i have changed my mind and think they look better not painted but with the OEM finish. And I was wondering... what's the best and safest way to go back to the OEM finish on the fog vents?

Really light media blast? You can buy products to restore plastics to their o.e finish, used a lot to repair bumper scuffs on bare plastic.

Most '94 and '95 Civics had painted foglight holes. You still are OEM. BUT since the '92 and '93 had unpainted foglight holes, true OEM would be to get another bumper and have it painted.

Cuz is you wanna talk OEM, fwiw the side molding was never painted.

But your car does look reeeally clean. Add lip, emblems, and appears to be cutouts for side markers, and the car will look bangin.

yeah i know what you mean, but i just wanted the oem finish in the fog vents, imo i think they look better like that.

This is the most recent pic, the car is still being put together. Wheels are going in next...

thanks everyone

Mask off the area around the openings, scuff the paint, then use dupli-color trim paint to get that look back. pretty simple process. Just make sure you mask off the area well.
