Is there any way of hooking up jdm fog lights with the existing cruise control wires and switch in a 5th gen prelude?
Cause when I bought the fogs, sadly the guy lost the original switch and switch harness, and I have also removed the cruise control system from the car previously.

Why don't you just buy a cheap replacement switch instead?

 

theres a writeup on prelude power about using the usdm fog switch w/ the jdm fogs. part numbers are included. theres a 5 switch holder w/ out the coin thing that comes stock and a usdm switch. slight modification to the jdm connector to fit usdm switch and your done.

 

I did exactly that on my 4th gen.

The plug from the fog harness even fit in the back of the cruise button. If it doesnt I'm sure you could figure out wich wires do what. You'll also need the fuse for the fogs installed.

But yea, works great for the past 2 years
