Default 98 accord advice!

hey whats up guys! picking up a 98 accord 4dr F23A1 5 speed....tein suspension, aem intake, vtec controller and other exterior mods! need some advice in a few sections....

exhaust: whats a nice exhaust that aint too loud but has a nice flashy mild look?

engine: would headers be a decent gain? is a f23 a good canidate for decent daily driven power and what does it put out stock? when would yal suggest a rebuild as far as mileage? and are there any down falls about that motor?

trans: whats a good clutch? do you suggest a H22 trans? and how does the stock trans hold up in many situations?

thanks for your time and advice guys all help is appreciated!

Apex-i WS is pretty quiet. Really, any muffler will be ok as long as you have a cat and resonator, and keep the piping under 2.5"

150hp, 152tq. Bolt-ons don't really do much for these motors. Rebuild when it blows. Or swap in a newer motor, it'll be cheaper. Downfalls - head is a little restrictive. Pluses - It handles low boost pretty well.

I run a ACT 6 puck with stock pressure plate and flywheel. Got it for $89 delivered. To me, H22 tranny isn't worth the $. Revs don't drop below 4k on shifts with stock tranny, and that's right around where the f23 makes max torque. Tranny is just as strong as H22.

Maybe you should get a header.. and not header(s)... Considering you have one head.
