I just put the y8 intake mani on my a6...i know there is no spot for the iat. so my question is....there are 2 spots for hoses on the front the top one is pcv and the one underneath is just a block off....SO could i stick the IAT sensor in where the block off hose would go? or would this not give a proper reading?

 

i don't know of anyone who's tried it, but i would be surprise if it didn't work just fine. so long as you get it in there snug and don't have any vacuum leaks then i don't see a problem with it.
