Default 95 accord coupe questions

my boy has a 95 accord coupe LX with a F22B2 and he was thinking about getting DC Sport Headers, with either an apexi world sport cat back or a pacesetter cat back and nothing really special for the CAT. we were also wondering whats a good suspension set up for them too.

Honestly, I would spend the cash on a really good suspension because you can at least benefit from better handling rather than going for the header and exhaust which won't even add 10hp. .

my buddys doing the headers/exhuast first. just cause it will be cheaper, and his exhuast is kinda ****. but what company makes a good suspension for the 95 accord coupes, hea has no problem droping money on a good suspension. not for low low lowness, only eliminating tire gap, and stiffening it up alot basicly is what he is looking for.

If he's looking for for a tighter ride then he should focus on the chassis, like sway bars or strut bars. As for suspension, is he looking for a complete set up? Or just to lower it. Skunk2 has coilover sleeves that would lower the car, offer adjustability and offer better control without creating something really stiff. There's lowering springs if he is looking just for a dropped ride height.

sorry i didnt explain our idea of suspension work before which consist of front and rear sway bars, the strut bar in the engine bay. we like rear seats so the one back there we wouldnt get. and coilovers.

so we would be looking for a good combination to achieve a nice stiffness and lower it a little but the drop more for control then looks. if you get me

i know tanabe has sway bars and a front strut bar for the CD5. I am still trying to see who else has sways, strut bars that fit. Other than ebay knock-offs.

Tokico Illuminas with a spring with a spring rate that'll match the struts is a decent setup from what I hear. Tein, Eibach, D2, Progress, Tokico, K Sport (dont recommend personally), Skunk2. There's probably other companies out there as well that would provide a decent setup.

Go with the Tein or K Sports for the coilovers. Definitely don't get lowering springs like most people, you'll like the fact that you can adjust your height.

well lets see here for suspension.....

for one, you can put the rear strut bar in without taking out the rear seats. you just have to trim the little panel pieces in the trunk so that the bar has a hole to go through. you will see what i mean.

so far as strut bar companies. there is a lot. i currently have megan front and rear. you may want to look into fatfourcustoms. the only company that offers a 3 point front strut bar. Also, it was mentioned above about a nice ride and a good drop. Well there is many options, I would rule out springs and struts right away. Also, a coil over sleeve design as well. Just get full coilovers. I have skunk 2 coil over sleeves and yeah you can lower the car a good amount, but the ride is very stiff. Also look into a full bushing kit.

im rocking ground control coil overs and have been for quite some time. they are cheap and IMO are a little better than the skunks as far as design.
