I was thinking about buying the godspeed cross bar for my ek hatch (with the lower and upper bars and butterfly side bars) and was wondering if i would be able to keep my full interior? I know i will lose my rear seatbelt which is fine, noone sits back there but id like to keep the seat just for a bench stuff as its my DD.

Is it possible to just cut the panels around the rear strut towers or do the side bars get in the way to much? Anyone have pics of this bar with a clean looking install?

Has anyone actually noticed an jncrease in handling with this bar?
Is it worth it or should i just go with the x bar without side bars?

Its not going to do a whole lot for handling. Youre better off spending the money on tires, rear sway bar, brakes etc.

 

In my hatch i already have the sir front and rear sway, sir front and rear brakes with hawk pads and decent tires.

 

for the money I would say you would get more out an ASR subrame brace and a type r sway bar for the rear
