Default Are 18's too big?

I am getting rims soon but cant decide between 17's and 18's. I want to be able to go to the track and race my car, but I like to go to car shows too. I want to know what all you guys think.

If you want to track the car 18's are outta the question. If you really want to have some sort of combination both track and show, id get a very light weight pair of 17's and some sticky tires.

Which do you like more... That's the real question.

I would much rather have 18's. 17's look better than my stock wheels, but 18's look just right.

I would get 17's, I just think that 18's are a little bit to big if you drop your car. Just my thought....

How do you fit 15's around our brakes?

i'd say go with the 18's if you really want them, for looks i'd go with 17's with a 2 1/2 inch drop...and at the track use your stock rims..

ok..heres the beakdown...15's will have the best acceleration..and all around best performence....but of course 15's prolly wont fit over your brakes....

so 16's even though they have a more rotational interia are the best perfroming wheels for a RSX ....17's aint so bad...but even if they weigh the same as 16's the fact that the engine has to power more metal than rubber increase rotational interia...thus robbing more power from the engine...now 18's are in no way performance oriented...they rob power...PERIOD ...and are very heavy ...18's are onyl for looks....if thats your taste ...then go for...just dont race with them....18's are not meant for racing.....

Go with 17's 18's look goofy and out of proportion for the RSX + they rob power.

actually...the rsx's fender gap is so big that 18's look just right. 17's look nice but just doesn't seem right.
