Ebay traction bar?
Anyone ever tried/seen one of these generic traction bars? They are a hell of alot cheaper than the esp.net ones and look like a similar design as the ones w/o the torque mount. I just had the tri-y header installed on my car and they didn't notch my crossmember and it is just barely touching, so I figured I may as well just pick up a traction bar. I would love to get the esp.net bar w/ torque mount, but I already spent my whole tax return on parts (m2a4 tranny, exedy clutch, tri-y header, and energy suspension motor mount bushings).
Go for it and when it falls apart or fails then you can understand why ESP charges what they do. Hey it's only for your safety, it's not like it's all that important....
LOL@ blowing entire tax returns on car parts......Thats so 1990's.
Lemme guess, your Tri-Y is a Replica?
Keep blowing all your money on crappy knock off parts.
*WAITS* for thread, HELP, my car is broken and I'm broke.

Well, thats why I was asking. I'll wait for the ESP.net traction bar.
As for blowing my tax return, I couldn't wait to get that damn M2J5 out of my car, and I had the money, so why not. And yes, it's the replica tri-y header. At least that one won't kill me, lol

If it were me, i would wait until i had the money for the
Esp traction bar. If you get probs with the exhaust
hitting the crossmember in the meantime, just notch it
for now.
