Default Polishing Rim Q's

I have a set of Fat fives rattle can black. Can i use a die grinder to take off the paint and maybe the first layer of sanding before i move on with the smaller grit sandpaper (by hand)?

yes you can but just dont go down to deep and make sure you go in an equally straight motion to prevent any dips, etc.

might wanna use some jasco first to loosen up all the small crevices, etc
