Just bought a 99 Si parts car
I was looking on Craigslist and came across a guy parting out his 99 Si. I contacted him and asked what was missing off the car. He said it was complete and ran great. The car has structural damage in the rear and isn't fixable. It has 116,000 miles on it and everything works perfect, even the a/c is ice cold. So I snatched it up for $2,200. I am taking everything I want off of it that I want for my 99 Hatch I'm working on, and the rest of the car I'll part out. As soon as I got home with it, I drove it down the road and it drives great. Here's a picture of how good it looks. It's the only pic I've taken.

It's a shame that such a nice car as this will be torn apart

Wow! That's crazy! It's a salvage title and all the damage is around the spare tire tub. I pulled all the carpet back in the trunk and the damage is pretty bad. You wouldn't think it if you seen the car parked. It looks perfectly fine. The car is all stock besides lowering springs and wheels.
I'm keeping the doors, f&r brakes and sway bars. The engine swap and cluster are already spoken for. For the rest of the car, it's open game. I need to find a place to put the car, right now its just outside. Once I get it in a garage, I'll start parting it out.

I give up! How do they think somebody trashed the underside without doing any apparent sheetmetal damage? They must have tried jumping over something did not make it or the car was rolled backwards onto something.
Interior color is dark gray, I will take pics of the damage when i get home this evening. Parts are going fast off this thing! lol The guy specifically told me what was wrong with the car. There is some minor sheetmetal damage on the driver rear quarter. Its kinda wavy but the majority of the damage is the rear bumper support and spare tire tub.
Moar pics. Be interesting to see the damage. Weird that there's nothing external. Question: is it fixable? Would it be possible to fix it and flip it? Especially if it retails for $6-7K
Ok so I'm getting bombarded with emails for parts and I'm trying to keep up but it's nearly impossible to. I'm just going to say this, I don't live anywhere close to a fed fex or ups place so shipping large items is going to be near impossible to do. I can send little things through the post office. I prefer if you want larger stuff (like seats, body parts, etc.) I would rather you come get them. I'm trying my best but I'm getting overwhelmed with emails. Anyway Here are more pics as requested of the car and damage..........
