Default Turbo civic finally broke in the 11's.

Went to the track yesterday and finally broke into the 11's. Here's my two best passes:

60' - 1.728
330 - 4.944
1/8 - 7.598
MPH - 91.86
1000 - 9.893
1/4 - 11.826
MPH - 116.37

60' - 1.748
330 - 4.958
1/8 - 7.628
MPH - 91.50
1000 - 9.935
1/4 - 11.878
MPH - 115.76

Setup is a 1991 Hatch:

Weighs 2155 with me in it.
Turbo D16A6 Vitara setup, stock head.
Tuned at 273 hp/ 257 tq.
Quaife Si tranny
23" M&H Slicks

How do the slips look? Anywhere you see I should be doing better, or does the ET look pretty good for the MPH I'm running?

if u can get ur 60' down just a little bit i think it would make a good difference by the end of the track,,,in my eyes thats alot of fun and pretty quick for a sub 300hp car.

X2.

Did you experiment with slick pressures? And was this VMP or Richmond Dragway?

I wanted a 1.6 so bad. I was using the slicks at 10 psi, letting them back down to 10 psi after each pass.

I was going to start letting pressures down, but broke an axle coming out of the burnout box on my 7th pass, ending my day.

Good job man. The slips look pretty good...get your 60 down to 1.6x and you can pull 11.7x easy. I wish my ed hatch was as light as yours, its heavier than yours with you in it. Another 804 d16 in the 11's I love it.

Damn nice times for sub 300whp. Back halfs pretty fair as well. My friends evo a while back made 404whp and backhalfed 25-26mph. And it was pretty quick for what it was (4 years ago) Can u tell a little more about the setup? What turbo, boost, etc?

Yeah, I think I raced you in the 1/8th. Track was covered in water the whole time? haha...

50 trim turbo, 19 psi tune. nice street setup. Instant torque curve.

Busy as hell. Working 65 hours a week, maintaining a girlfriend and two cars, and a social life is enough for anyone.

I barely get on H-T anymore...

Great times out of a simple lil' setup bro! The slip looks spot on and proportionate all the way through. Love that tq. number as well! Time for more power!!!!!!! Take care.
