Default Picked up Mugen Twin Loop and Comptech Ice Box...Now what!?

Well, I got a deal for a mugen twin loop and comptech icebox for $450. Both great condition. I've always had issues with a small exhaust leak at the interface between the exhaust manifold and A-pipe, so I'm thinking header and was wondering what header you guys would suggest? Most everything I researched before was 2.5", but I would like to bolt this up with 2.25" to match the twin loop and keep stock cat. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Dc sports makes a nice header that bolts right up to the usdm 2.25 cat. I have had dc products in the past and they are great in quality

x2
Also had one and it was great. I smashed the bottom of them multiple times and they are still holding up. They are also reasonable priced!

DC sports is junk. Might as well get a stock usdm header. Or just pick up a JDM 4-1 header. I had that header with a smsp tp and tl cat-back. Sounded great.

Yes, But do you have the usdm or the jdm tl? Iirc the jdm is longer sense the jdm cat is 12". And the usdm is shorter sense our cat is 18". Something to check before you buy a cat or tp.

how much do you want to spend on a header is the question that needs to be asked.

If you want to go all out and have a work of art and support an awesome stateside guy then contact dave @ smsp

If you shell out the $$$ for a quality header might want to look into selling the mugen for something 2.5". Should be able to make a nice profit since you got it for cheap.
