I am currently looking into getting a Benen Front Lower Tie Bar. Now, I know it mounts onto a stock 92 Hatch with no problem. However, I have heard about fitment issues when you have an upgraded exhaust. I have an High Flow Cat, 2.5 Exhaust, and will be soon turbocharing so add in a 2.5 Downpipe, will it be able to bolt up?

you can see the bar in that pic. he's got rage"tri-y replica' headers on a b16 i believe. looks like it clears. i also bought one of these bar's but its just sitting in the box. good luck

 

oh yeah if you scroll down a bit there are two more pics. looks like the header almost rests on the bar tight fit.

 

Have you not installed it because it doesn't fit or just haven't had the time?

 

just been stacking parts for now. i'm in a different country then my car now. if i ever get back to her i'll start a build. i'm going k series so idk how that will work. seems like it would fit as the header doesn't pass under the block like a b series.
