Cam Issue
Alright guys, i recently had some work done to the head of my JDM H22 motor and in this work i had a set of Blox Type B cams installed. Before this work the car was running a stock JDM h22 with I/H/E and a few other little mods but nothing internal. Now, after the head work, its running a 3 inch intake, 68mm throttle body, S2 intake manifold, Blox type B cams, titanium retainers, valve springs and S2 adjustable cam gears, hytech header, 3 inch cat back and a few other non-essentials (VTEC Solenoid cover also btw).
Ever since I got this work done, the car wont engage VTEC. Its odd. With the Basemap ECU I got from Xenocron, the only things i opted for was the knock sensor disabled and the governor removed even though I don't drive that fast. Either way, now it will accelerate and just sit and bounce off VTEC like its the rev limiter. I was wondering if you guys could help me with this.
I contacted Xenocron/Chris Harris and spoke with him about it and he had mentioned that the Cams will need to be degree'd which is why they wont engage VTEC properly and that most places don't degree Cams after they install them which is why this tends to happen to people. Although I believe Chris I was wondering if you guys could give me other reasons this could be happening or an alternate reason as to why? He obviously hasnt seen the car or driven it so its as much as a guess on his part as it would be on yours.
Thanks in advance.

Ah, Xenocron answers my question, the irony in this is interesting. No Check Engine light, the car starts normally, behaves like it normally would, its just when you accelerate aggressively and it goes to switch over to VTEC at 5k RPM's, it just bounces off the crossover point instead of engaging, keeps bouncing til you let off the accelerator and accelerate calmly and it will drive like normal without engaging the VTEC. Like I said, nothing else happening, just that, its super weird. I guess when i bring it in to tune it'll have to be addressed. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this as an issue?
