toda type c with blox valvetrain
I know toda cams suggest to use toda valvetrain, is that just because they want the money or because it is truely needed. Car has blox a's in a b16 now, but will be going ls vtec before the month is up.
edit-haha nevermind im stupid
they recommend their valvetrain because you aren't supposed to use stock valvetrain with this aggressive of a cam. you need upgraded springs, retainers, valves, and high comp pistons

they say to use it for a reason, my friends brothers friend tried this same thing and it failed, cant remember what exactly happend but quite a few valves got destroyed.
u have to run dual valve springs. there stiffer and can take more. also they reduce valve float. thats the idea of a stiffer spring with a more aggresive cam with bigger lobes.

save up and buy a full valve train. dont just try ans squeek by with the minimum. any upgrade will be fine. but i highly recomend a full upgrade i.e. i ran supertech valves, JUN springs & retainers, and skunk pro 1's
We have springs and retainers with blox a cams. Was just trying to see if today cams needed today valvetrain. Toda C's to be exact. Now to see if a better can is worth it to me.
