Radiator.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
well I completed my swap got all the hoses and everything running
except for my radiator/fan will not come on. I took off the housing off the
thermostat and it leaked coolant. also took off most of the hoses and they seem
to have coolant in them. Just seems to not be flowing strong. car runs fast high idle but if I start squeezing some of the radiator hoses it quites down and runs smooth. I have no idea what could be wrong???? Any help from anyone is so greatly appreciated. don't want to drive it too much so it does not overheat!!!!

If you removed the thermo housing then you'll need to re-seal it with HondaBond and while you're at it replace the thermostat since they are cheap. Get eh Genuine Hondas one.
Is your fan plugged up?
Check the fan fuses and relays too - they should be labeled on your fuse boxes.
***ALSO***
Make sure when you fill the system to crack open the little bleeder on the housing whwre the top radiator hose meets the engine.
some of the newer motors don't have this bleeder, so just run the car with no cap on and continue to fill the radiator until it's full. Make sure there are no continuos bubbles or you could have a blown head gasket - highly doubtful.

the grey FAN connector next to radiator is connected up any other connectors need to be plugged? could it have anything to do with the ECT switch? I can replace it but it seems fine not black or dark on the sensor or on the connector. I will go outside and check all my fuses, replace thermostat, and keep filling the radiator till it cannot take anymore any idea how much fluid it will take to fill it up?
*** also what is the easiest way to wire vtec since I do not have a P28 ECU or engine harness yet? ***
thanks so much for all your help!!!!

i noticed something not sure if it makes a difference but at the bottom of the fan motor there is a nipple looks like a hose gets connected to it but not sure can anyone check there motor? could it be a blown head gasket? the motor runs well and the fan comes on just no coolant running through the hoses. there is coolant in the thermostat when replaced it i lost like a quart. help please!!!!!!!!!!!!! how do i know if the water pump is shot???
are you overheating?? Check all fuses. Connect your fan switch to your batter by removing the plug on top of radiator, and running 2 wires from the male posts of the fan switch, to your battery post terminals(doesn't matter what is negative or positive) This will tell you if your fan motor is good. If it comes on, then check your fan relay, which is in your engine bay fuse box.
Make sure all air is bled out of system. Do this by running your car until your stat opens up, and then you can keep filling radiator until full, then put cap on. Let the car cool off, and top off if necessary. BTW, all of this info can be found in a Chiltons also.
The fan only comes on depending on temp of radiator...so, if radiator isn't filling up with hot water, then the fan won't come on. If you don't have enough coolant in your block, then it's not going to be pumped through to your radiator, and cool water will be sitting in your radiator. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying, I had the same prob in my car-94 Civic Si. My copper headgasket didn't seal and I was getting blowby into my coolant, which was causing it to overheat and my fan wouldn;'t turn on either. When in doubt, you could always wire up a toggle switch from your fan switch to your batter in the inside of the car, and flip it on around town. That's what I've done before for people. It's cheaper than a 60 dollar relay if that's what's bad.
