Default Will the H22A engine fit to a F22B Auto Tranny?

Ok - I'm an ex 92 H22A engined Prelude owner. I loved that car but it had to go when the family arrived. My need for speed is met by my CBR1100XX Honda Blackbird (122kw at the crank).

Currently I drive a Honda Odyssey. It is a Japenese RHD 4WD 2.2 Auto. This is great vehicle to take skiing, to the beach, on Holiday except it lacks any real get up and go. My goal is to replace the F22B engine with an H22A. I want to retain the 4WD which means keeping the exisiting auto transmission. The current engine is a SOHC F22B (non VTEC head).

I have asked this question on a couple of the other forums but with conflicting answers, if any at all.

Will the H22A block mount up to what is effectively an F22B autobox? Additionally are the H22A ECU and TCU's separate?

I have visually inspected anbd compared (with digital photos) H22A SiR Accords, Preludes, F22B VTEC and Non VTEC SOHC Accords, and my F22B SOHC Odyssey. I've found the 94 to 96 models are visually identical under the hood in terms of mounting points, radiators, air intakes, wiring, ABS, oil lines etc. Honda is usually plug and play - can I get away with this?

I can source a Jap H22A Long Block with ECU, wiring and gearbox (which I would remove) for NZ$2200. I have found a local performance shop prepared to do the swap (and build custom headers, free flow mandrel exhaust) but it's a very expensive exercise to source the engine , pull out the old only to find it can't be done.

If it wasn't for the 4WD feature i'd just go and get the 3.0 litre VTEC V6, so I won't just add the H22A and box.
