Might have an issue with the regulator. If any part of it has worn bushings or such it might not roll up straight. Pry the door panel off and take a look. You should be able to tell if anything is wrong just by looking at it. Not sure if you will be able to replace just the regulator on that guy or if you have to do a motor/regulator assembly.

Also you might get the panel off and realize that a corner of the window just isn't seated properly.

The motor and assembly come as one piece you cannot get them separate.

I'm having the same problem with my 06.. Im thinking the paint shop messed something up when they pulled the door off. I'm just sending it to Acura. Might take a look at it tho before hand bc I know it will cost me an arm and leg

Make sure the window rails are bolted tight and dont have any play on them. And as for the window going up and passing the seals, im not 100% sure because i haven't checked on my rsx, but cars usually have bump stops at the top on the rails that limit how high the window goes. And those are adjustable. Keep adjusting without the door panel and once you get it right on the money, re-install your door panel

Not sure if this applies to your issue, but after I got my car back from the shop. They did not get the seal in the door very well. Sometimes when I rolled my window up the window would not fit in the seal well, and sometimes rolling the window down the seal would actually hang down, thought it was broke, but I just had to force it up into its place. Have not had an issue since.

did you take your car in yet? im curious to know if they did anything. last time i went there i got my oil change and told them the problem but they didnt have time to check it out. they only noted that i have tinted windows and that sometimes it messes it up. im too busy to waste my time to go there and get an hour worth of nothing if they say they cant fix it.

Honda doesn't make very good window regulators in my experience. I also had tints on mine, that may have been what messed the system up.

its not the regulator. i had the exact same problem in my 03 s. The window its self is held in place by 2 10mm bolts to the rail the brings the window up and down. This is where honda messed up. The two brackets that hold the window in place are held by some sort of glue gum looking stuff. and the goo just basically looses its strength. I had an extra window so i installed the new glass. In your case you would have to find some really strong epoxy or something that will hold that bracket to the glass. or get a new window. Hassle free and you can get on for $40 on craigs. I had this issue on my 03 rsx with 34k. Hondas are good cars but not perfect...

I had to open up both doors and grease up the rails. Works alot better but not perfect though.
