P2M ecu same as P2P? I have searched

P2M ecu same as P2P? I have searched
All I can come across is that the P2M is a OBD2 96-00 sohc vtec from NZ.
Can anybody tell me if this is same as P2P?
I need this for a D16Y8 swap, but have been offered a few P2M ecu's, but cant find anything about the ecu.
What car/engine does the P2M come out of?
I have heard that it also came out of 96-00 UDSM civic ex(D16Y8) and hx(D16Y5), so now I am really confused.
Is it OBD2A or OBD2B?
